Cafe Vlissinghe
Cafe Vlissinghe
The oldest pub in Brugge.
Jezza says
Vlissinghe dates all the way back to 1515, so it celebrated its 500th anniversary not so long ago. It’s an absolute gem, with a huge stove in the middle of the single room, beams and paintings, oozing history and ambience. There’s also a lovely garden out the back. The beer selection isn’t world beating, but you should normally find around 30 beers on a decent if unspectacular list. Despite the relatively small list, this is an essential stop on your Brugge pub tour.
